Goal Line Studios is a full-service production sound stage in the San Francisco Bay Area, led by me, its CEO. I have over 31 years of experience in this field, producing and executive producing various media projects, ranging from corporate video to sports shows to feature films. Some of my notable works include producing 10 seasons of the All-Madden Team and executive producing the Motion Picture Academy Award nominated movie, The Cooler.
My father, Hall of Fame NFL football coach and Emmy Award winning NFL color-analyst, John Madden, built Goal Line in 1995 to serve as his television production home. With my father as my number one “client” I was fortunate to serve as his corporate communications producer, giving me the opportunity to produce videos for many Fortune 500 companies over the many years we worked together. While he was on the road announcing NFL games I continued in the corporate space as well as commercial production. After my father’s passing in December of 2021, I decided to honor his legacy and vision by renovating the studio and installing the largest and most advanced virtual production studio in Northern California. Our video wall stands 106 feet across by 20 feet tall and can host the most complex in-camera tracking effects productions, whether it be a live streamed event, a commercial shoot, or corporate communication event. 30 years of production knowledge and experience has afforded me to assemble the best creative and technical talent the Bay Area has to offer. With the installation of our LED volume I stand committed to push the envelope with this state-of-the-art technology and afford the Bay Area production community the very best of tools to perfect their craft.
